Getting Ready

So we've been getting ready for Jackson's First Christmas. We are all so excited I forgot to update the blog. I really didn't think I was this far behind but man I really was. But a lot has been going on shopping mainly and helping take care of my mom, she is doing a lot better now. Jackson is getting so big. Last Tuesday was his 5 months I don't believe. He loves to stand up and loves looking and playing with the Christmas tree. He has really started playing with toys recently it's kinda like he just caught on. He is so cute. We are so excited about his first Christmas. We have got so many toys for him. I kept saying I wasn't going to make a big fuss this year because he really wouldn't understand, but yet we went out and bought all kinds of stuff. IT'S HIS FIRST CHRISTMAS!! OK so let me explain this one. I came across this at Toys R Us on Friday. It's a snowman snow suit/costume. It was soooo cute and on sale so I couldn't resist. He looks so cute in it. I know he is going to kill me when he gets older ;)

Getting Bigger?

So it seems that this child is getting bigger. It seems like he is getting heavier but not really. We started feeding him 8 oz instead of 6 but he is eating the same total amount of oz a day just less feedings. So I don't know if he really is getting bigger. I know this child is getting longer. He fits really good in his jump-a-roo ( thanks cousin Isabel). He is still in 0-3 months clothes. We bought him this cute outfit which he looks like a little man in. I'm loving this one. I've spiked his hair up in the middle because his hair is starting to come in now. He is so darn cute.

Next week 5 months old. I don't believe it!!!!!

What's Been Goin On

So it's been kinda crazy everything that has been going on. Mom is doing better now she is actually getting out and about lately, she's going a little crazy being in the house. Oh and my dad got to help out at the Extreme Home Makeover today. I know he was really excited to help out. I've been trying to get an early start on Christmas shopping. Got a few things so far. But I'm saving some for the after Thanksgiving Nightmare. We've made a tradition where a few of my cousins and aunts get together meet up and hit the stores at 3:00 am. Last Tuesday was our anniversary but we celebrated Saturday while my parents watched Jackson. We've been getting a little better with Jackson staying with the grandparents. Grandma Carrie & the kids watch him too. We only call them to check on him, oh I'd say a million times. But that's ok :) It's so crazy I don't believe we've been married for 3 years, but together for 7 1/2. So just a little thank you. Thank you for being my best friend, being an awesome father to our son, and being so faithful to me. Thank you for telling me you love me a million times a day and showing me that you love me. Thank you for being there whenever I need you and making me laugh everyday. Thank you for providing for our family. Thank you for being so a wonderful husband and father. We love you!!

Jackson is growing so fast it's hard to think that he'll be 5 months in a couple of weeks. He's sitting up really good and can stand up well with our assistance.

I think he is really getting to notice his voice more. He loves talking even though he's not really saying anything. The top clip was from the other day when he truely laughed a good one for me he had me cracking up. I recorded it on my phone then transfered it to my camera. I love it!! Oh, he was laughing at my parents dog. I'll let her out and she runs around the yard. Another thing that will get him to laugh is when I tell the dogs to go pee. He gets a kick out of that too.

Jackson's First Halloween

Jackson had a blast for his first Halloween. But was tired shortly after it began. We first stopped by Mama & Papa's , which we do every night since mom broke her leg. He tried to get a short nap while mommy messed with her new camera.

We went to Hank & Lana's where he helped pass out candy and got rubber ducks for the tub and his first sucker. He loved it!!

Then we stopped by Shawne's house for a visit by then he was really tired.

Then we visited Grandma Carrie, Kayla, & Mikal. Then he was really really tired. Was there long enough to take some scary pictures.

But we had fun that night. I can't wait till next year when he can understand it better. But it was fun cause' Mommy & Daddy got all the candy!!
