My trip to Indianapolis

We decide to do a little mini vacation and take Jackson to Indianapolis to go to the Zoo and Childrens Musuem. I haven't been there since I was in atleast High School. Jackson had the best time ever. He enjoyed every minute of it. I like their zoo better they had dolphins and a shark tank where you got to touch them. Jackson loved that but he just like to play in the water. He loved the first time in a hotel. I think he would have been fine with staying there all day. He was kinda fussy the weekend one being out of routine and two we think he is getting his 2 year molars in already. But all and all he did really good though the trip.

They had a petting zoo there and he has this thing about cows but he didn't really think this was a cow.

There was a train station at the museum and Jackson was playing with another boy and the boy kept elbowing Jackson everytime he got near him we laughed because Matt got it on video.

He has to give everything a hug.

They had Lego Land at the Museum. Jaks was afraid of the lego Dragon until Daddy showed him what it was made of.

Our 1st Family Vacation

Last Saturday we, meaning mom, dad, Matt, and Jackson, set off on our first family vacation. We went to Oak Island, NC about 30 mins from Myrtle Beach. Matt's brother lives down there with his wife. We had a absolute blast down there. Jackson was great he rode the whole trip perfectly, and was excellent the whole week. He loved the ocean. He loved the ocean breeze hitting him in the face he would sometimes try to catch it in his mouth. We went to Gatlinburg on Sunday, detour, where we got his first ornament and stocking, Monday we went to Myrtle Beach shop and ate on the ocean. Tuesday we went to Southport, an old town next to the island where I know what you did Last Summer, Domestic Disturbance and other movies where made. And the rest of the week we hung out at the beach.Poor Jackson got a mini sunburn some how even though we had sunblock on him and under an umbrella. Everyone was making fun of me because the way I put the the stick sunblock on he had zebra stripes. But we had a great time and mom & dad allowed us to get some alone time by watching Jackson while we went for a moonlight walk down the beach;) It was nice getting away for awhile after the year we had. Everyone is doing great Jackson is getting so big Matt & Dad measured Jackson the other night and swears that he is 24 inches now. We'll see when we go to the doctor on Weds. for his 2 month appt. That's when he gets all his shots :( I let you know how it ends up. Oh and I go back to work Monday. So pray for me that I don't have a nervous breakdown.
