And It's Done

Ok so we're done. Finally! It only took 2 days, and I mean 2 full days. Matt help me paint for awhile then started on his masterpiece ( the ceiling) We decided to add a texture celing. I don't think he was very happy. But all in all we are both very pleased with the way it turned out. We still have to add the decor (cape cod) and we are putting his name above his crib. But atleast we got the majority of it done. We just wanted to be able to bring everything home from the shower and everything would be ready, and then all we would have to do is wait for him. So I guess that is it for now. I'm so going to bed.

8 More Weeks

Ok, So we have 8 weeks left. I had to take another picture because everyone has been telling me how much I have popped out within the past couple of weeks. Ok I see it too. But as long as it is my belly and not anything else I'm ok with that. So we start our 2 week appt. next Weds. and me and mom have trying to get everything ready for the baby shower. And let me just tell you that my mom is going All out. I mean All Out. If you went to my bridal shower you know how my mom throws a party. Well it's going to be even bigger than that. My mother in law is cooking up her special food, so I know everyone will be glad of that. So all around I'm really excited. We are painting the nursery this weekend. We went to Home Depot and picked out a light navy blue color so I hope it will look good. We are looking into having a guy paint a lighthouse, dock, and sailboat in his room. I can't wait I'm just ready to get it done. Hopefully I will have it done and pictures of it this weekend. We'll see! So if you don't hear from me you know I didn't get it done yet :)

THUNDER 2007 PART 2

THUNDER 2007

Thunder Was Awesome. We had a blast. The whole gang was there, including Hollie which was due on Thunder. We had so much food. Matt smoked some pork, which turned out so awesome. We played tree golf which the girls took a little longer to reach 21 than the guys, but 2 of us was pregnant :) We got a great view once again of the air show and fireworks, and we didn't have to fight with the crowds downtown. I did a slide show of Thunder. Hope you enjoy.

This Is Why!

Our new floors!!!

This is why I haven't updated. Ok so we decided that since Jackson will be here in 9 weeks (or less) we should get moving on all the stuff we needed to do. In December we took up the carpet and had hardwood floors. So last weekend we sand and stain the floors. Thanks to Matt, Dad, Derek, Josh, and Eric. We now have beautiful floors. THANK YOU!!! So we had to stay at mom and dads for a few day while the floor dried. Then the clean up began. Not fun. But mom and dad came over and helped out a lot. We had to get everything done before Sat. for our party. But I have to say they look pretty good. So I think next week we will get started on painting Jackson's room. We got all of the furniture out last weekend, so hopefully it won't take long. Oh I went to the Doctor Friday and same oh, same oh. Everything check out ok. So now I start my 2 week appt. Fun Fun. 9 Weeks Left!!

10 More Weeks!

Ok so I have 10 weeks left. Do you believe that! I was telling Matt that 6 months ago tomorrow to the date we found out we were pregnant. We found out on Friday the 13th. I was just thinking how freaking that was and was scared that the test was wrong and we were getting excited for nothing. So I took another one the next morning. I keep saying that it is going by way to fast. But everything has been going great except my allergy turned into a cold which was not good. I'm starting to get over it now, thank you, except I feel really bad in the mornings and that makes it really hard in the mornings for me. I felt horrible Easter weekend, but went out anyways. It was nice going to church again since me and Matt haven't been in forever. It really hit home with me this time because Brian (our pastor) kept saying how God gave his only son for us. And I guess for the first time I really knew what that could have been like. I couldn't imagine giving up Jackson for anything in this world. Everytime he said that I just kept looking down and my stomach and saying I could never do that. I would give up myself before him. I always worry that something might happen to me while I was pregnant but if something was to happen I hope it wouldn't effect him in anyway. It's crazy how your feelings change in the blink of an eye and putting your self last, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Oh I guess it is safe to say now that we have set a date for the baby shower, Sunday May 6th. We reserved the room today and we will be getting invitations out soon. I will keep you up dated.

Yes I Know!

Ok so it's been a week, not much has happened but trust me we've been busy. So I found out everything came back on the Glucose test ok, but my Iron levels was extremly low. So now I have to take Iron pills twice a day. I've been feeling ok except when me and Matt worked in the yard Sunday my allergy has been really bad. So I haven't felt like doing anything. Jackson's good. Moving around a lot still. 11 more weeks. Yeah. He still hangs out in his favorite spot with his back and butt sticking out making my belly look cone shape. Mom and Dad noticed the other night, and now mom makes fun of me everytime. We went shopping tonight and the outfit I bought for Easter mom started laughing and said your belly looks like a cone again. Of course I can't help it. I will be glad when he's here but I will miss looking down and seeing and feeling him move since he's so active. Well I will post some pictures of Easter this weekend. Have a Great Easter!!!
