Jackson's First Christmas

Christmas was great. This has got to be the best Christmas ever. Jackson got so many presents. It took him a while to open everything and taking breaks here and there, but it was so much fun. We had such a busy Christmas this year. Sunday before Christmas we had it with my mom's side and everyone was there. Jackson got some cute outfits and some neat toys. He slept most of the day though I guess he was really tired from everything going on. Christmas Eve we went out to my Aunt Roxanne's and Jackson got to see Santa again. He was so cute he loved Santa. On Christmas morning we got up and me and Matt did our own Christmas which was great. Matt got me some much need clothes and after that we went to my parents house to meet up with them and Grandma Carrie, Kayla and Mikal. We had a great breakfast and then on to the presents. He got all kinds of stuff. From cute little outfits to all the toys you can think of. Grandma Carrie got him this cute jack-in-the-box. It took her forever to find one. Mom and Dad got him the sing along stage. He really likes to play with that. It lights up and has a mirror and plays music. He also got a rocking horse from Hank and Lana it is too cute when he gets on it he holds it by the ears and hair. He loves everything he got and will really play with anything you stick in front of him. We are truely blessed this year that we had a wonderful Christmas with our healthy baby boy.

The Christmas Party

Saturday was so much fun we went and helped at the Angel Tree distribution and later on that night we went to Wooden Glenn for our Christmas Party. We had a blast and it was just so beautiful out there with the snow and everything. We all had a great time. Thank you John and Vicky you guys are the best. We haven't been out there since we got married 3 years ago. The food was awesome. It was so funny looking around and seeing half the people I work with and the other half is from church ;) I always ask Vicky how many more people she could hire for CIC, but their all great people to work with.

I don't believe Christmas is a week away. I'm so glad I have my shopping done. I can't wait for Jackson's First Christmas. This has been far the best Christmas ever!

Another One

So Saturday we went to have our family pictures done, and during them Jackson started to get really fussy, unusual for him we really didn't know what was wrong but we got some good pictures anyways. Then we went to my cousins Christmas party he wasn't to bad just tired. Sunday morning he woke up fussy and guess what we found another tooth coming in right next to the other one. So I really think he's going to get his 2 front teeth for Christmas. He's been pretty good about it. It seems to only hurt the first couple days when it starts coming in. We are so excited about it. He's been in a pretty good mood the past 2 days. He has been waking up and talking extremely loud. This high pitch talk that wakes up every morning it is way too cute though. We love it. Everything Going Good

So I took some good pictures of Jackson touching the tree. And he had his first cookie yesterday I took some great pictures of that too. And I just remembered I left my camera at work:( Boo so I will have to post them later. Jackson is doing awesome his tooth is coming in a little at a time but it doesn't seem to bother him much, knock knock on wood! He is getting bigger and bigger, I think. This child is still in 0-3months clothes. We tired different 3-6 month outfits on and they don't fit. Some shirts do but not the pants. Oh well some day. All the clothes that we bought before he was born I don't think are going to work now. We prepared that he was going to be some giant child and he actually turned out smaller than we thought. Well I just thought to update, We have a busy weekend. Tomorrow we have his Christmas, 6 month, and family pictures and a Christmas party. Sunday we are helping with the Angel Tree. I'll post some pictures later.

I AM TEETHING

Hey everyone I got my first tooth coming in. My mommy and daddy are so excited. I am being a real trooper about it. It's not really bothering me but if it does mommy puts some medicine on it and it taste really nasty. I make these really funny faces unlike the lemon my mommy and daddy gave me I LOVED THAT!!! It's coming in on the bottom left. I guess I am getting my front teeth for Christmas. Oh and I also started on cereal. I really like it. That's it for now.

Getting Ready

So we've been getting ready for Jackson's First Christmas. We are all so excited I forgot to update the blog. I really didn't think I was this far behind but man I really was. But a lot has been going on shopping mainly and helping take care of my mom, she is doing a lot better now. Jackson is getting so big. Last Tuesday was his 5 months I don't believe. He loves to stand up and loves looking and playing with the Christmas tree. He has really started playing with toys recently it's kinda like he just caught on. He is so cute. We are so excited about his first Christmas. We have got so many toys for him. I kept saying I wasn't going to make a big fuss this year because he really wouldn't understand, but yet we went out and bought all kinds of stuff. IT'S HIS FIRST CHRISTMAS!! Well here is a few pictures from last week and of his 5 months. I hope you enjoy!!




OK so let me explain this one. I came across this at Toys R Us on Friday. It's a snowman snow suit/costume. It was soooo cute and on sale so I couldn't resist. He looks so cute in it. I know he is going to kill me when he gets older ;)

Am I Talking?

Getting Bigger?

So it seems that this child is getting bigger. It seems like he is getting heavier but not really. We started feeding him 8 oz instead of 6 but he is eating the same total amount of oz a day just less feedings. So I don't know if he really is getting bigger. I know this child is getting longer. He fits really good in his jump-a-roo ( thanks cousin Isabel). He is still in 0-3 months clothes. We bought him this cute outfit which he looks like a little man in. I'm loving this one. I've spiked his hair up in the middle because his hair is starting to come in now. He is so darn cute.

What's Been Goin On

So it's been kinda crazy everything that has been going on. Mom is doing better now she is actually getting out and about lately, she's going a little crazy being in the house. Oh and my dad got to help out at the Extreme Home Makeover today. I know he was really excited to help out. I've been trying to get an early start on Christmas shopping. Got a few things so far. But I'm saving some for the after Thanksgiving Nightmare. We've made a tradition where a few of my cousins and aunts get together meet up and hit the stores at 3:00 am. Last Tuesday was our anniversary but we celebrated Saturday while my parents watched Jackson. We've been getting a little better with Jackson staying with the grandparents. Grandma Carrie & the kids watch him too. We only call them to check on him, oh I'd say a million times. But that's ok :) It's so crazy I don't believe we've been married for 3 years, but together for 7 1/2. So just a little thank you. Thank you for being my best friend, being an awesome father to our son, and being so faithful to me. Thank you for telling me you love me a million times a day and showing me that you love me. Thank you for being there whenever I need you and making me laugh everyday. Thank you for providing for our family. Thank you for being so a wonderful husband and father. We love you!!

Jackson is growing so fast it's hard to think that he'll be 5 months in a couple of weeks. He's sitting up really good and can stand up well with our assistance.

I think he is really getting to notice his voice more. He loves talking even though he's not really saying anything. The top clip was from the other day when he truely laughed a good one for me he had me cracking up. I recorded it on my phone then transfered it to my camera. I love it!! Oh, he was laughing at my parents dog. I'll let her out and she runs around the yard. Another thing that will get him to laugh is when I tell the dogs to go pee. He gets a kick out of that too.

Jackson's First Halloween

Jackson had a blast for his first Halloween. But was tired shortly after it began. We first stopped by Mama & Papa's , which we do every night since mom broke her leg. He tried to get a short nap while mommy messed with her new camera.

We went to Hank & Lana's where he helped pass out candy and got rubber ducks for the tub and his first sucker. He loved it!!

Then we stopped by Shawne's house for a visit by then he was really tired.

Then we visited Grandma Carrie, Kayla, & Mikal. Then he was really really tired. Was there long enough to take some scary pictures.

But we had fun that night. I can't wait till next year when he can understand it better. But it was fun cause' Mommy & Daddy got all the candy!!

4 Month Check Up

So this morning I took Jackson to his 4 month check up. Daddy had to miss out on another round of shots because he worked until 6am. But Jackson did great he only cried when she stuck him and stopped when I picked him up.

Our little boy weighed in at:

13 pounds 5 oz (35 percentile)

and 26 inches long (95 percentile)

So on average since he's been born he has gained 1 lb a month and grew an inch a month. Dr. F said that he will be tall and skinny. Basketball player??

Every check up he has had has been 50th percentile in weight and 95-100th percentile in height. He is staying pretty steady. He has been doing great. His new thing is that he likes paper. He loves to smack it and grab it. It's crazy what they find fun. They find the simple pleasures out of life. But on the other hand we find it just as entertaining watching them play with simple things. Tomorrow we are going Trick or Treating around some families houses, to show off our little stinker. Hopefully my new camera (anniversary present from my wonderful husband!) will come in tomorrow so I can take some great shots of his first Halloween.

Four Months

Already 4 months old. I just can't believe it. I look back at some pictures and see how much you've grown.You get more adorable everyday.

You remind me of your daddy so much. Which is a good thing. You can do so much now. Just the other day you finally rolled over, for daddy, then me. You love to find anything you can pull yourself up on. You love sitting at the table with me while I eat and try to grab my plate and smack the table. Cute now but won't be cute later. You love peek- a- boo.

You can sleep anywhere and very well I can put you to sleep and you can be out for 12 hours straight.You love sitting up. Every chance we get we sit you up. I think you will be doing it on your own for too much longer.

You love to be on the go. You love car rides.
You love getting attention but don't cry for it. You are always smiling, laughing and trying to talk.
When you and your buddy Nolan get together you talk to each other in some kind of secret language. It's so cute. I love watching you and daddy play together. It so cute how you interact with him. You seem so mesmerised by him.
We are so happy that you are apart of our family
